Drippings Springs Farm is now in its 5th generation of family members who are stewards of the woodlands, native grass meadows, springs, and

growers of heirloom and specialty fruits, vegetables and flowers

Our Goals

Our goals are to: 

  • manage our family farm in a way that respects the history and ecology of the farm 

  • feed our family and others in our community with healthy vegetables and fruits grown without human-made chemicals 

  • enrich the soil and protect the waters on the farm by tilling as little as possible and using sustainable practices such as composting, cover crops, and attracting pollinators

  • tell the story of the land, its people and its history as part of the Dripping Springs Escarpment

Some things to know about the farm:

  • 67 acres in the Penns Chapel community in Warren County, Kentucky

  • 30 acres of diverse woodland

  • 24 acres of native grass meadows

  • a waterfall, rock shelter and hundreds of dripping springs

  • market garden - selling vegetables, fruit, eggs, and baked goods at the SOKY Farmers Market in Bowling Green, Kentucky (April - October 2024)

  • family history and connection to the land
